NEO

A humanoid explicitly aimed at the home, not the factory — a meaningfully harder safety target.

Most humanoid companies are chasing warehouses and factories first. 1X has bet on the home instead, which changes the engineering brief considerably: NEO has to be safe around children, pets, and untrained users, not just trained warehouse staff.

It's noticeably lighter than most full-size industrial humanoids, and 1X has taken preorders at a $20,000 price point — positioning it as much closer to a consumer product launch than an enterprise pilot.
