An entry-level Unitree humanoid priced closer to a hobbyist quadruped than an industrial robot.
R1 pushes Unitree's price disruption even further — reported pricing around $4,900–$5,900 puts a full humanoid platform within reach of research labs, universities, and serious hobbyists rather than only well-funded enterprises.
It's a smaller, lighter machine than the G1 or H2, and it's a good illustration of how quickly the entry price for owning a real humanoid platform has fallen in just a couple of years.
